Physical - Hopscotch Game

Knowing that summer is coming, and we want children to play outside, we can introduce hopscotch outside to help with their physical development (their traveling and balancing skills). We can ask to write the number inside each box so we can hop around (number – 1 to 10). I will ask them if they play hopscotch before.

Through hopscotch, children learn their traveling and balancing ability as well as learning more about numbers (odd vs. even numbers).
At the end, we will talk how to travel and balance when we hop around the hopscotch and learn about even number or odd number as part of the game. Knowing that children love to play game, we will play hopscotch game of “hopping through odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) or even numbers (2, 4, 6, 8, 10)?”
